Innovative proposals for ADAMH board collaboration in FY13 to be topic of January webinars
In December, the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) announced a new strategy for allocating some of the funding that it sends to the 50 community mental health boards in the state for services to individuals who are not covered by Medicaid or other insurance. Ex-Offender Reentry Mini-Grants awarded to 14 ADAMH boards, Forensic Focus published
The ODMH Office of Forensic Services has announced the award of Ex-Offender Reentry Mini-Grants to Ohio communities to expand services to individuals exiting the prison system. Pilot test of the new Mental Health Outcomes Record has begun
The ODMH Office of Research and Evaluation, in collaboration with the ODADAS Office of Information Technology, is piloting a new mental health outcomes record for consumers with SMD/SED in the Ohio Behavioral Health web-based facility. This is an opportunity to test the feasibility of several new fields and requirements in ODMH's outcomes and information system known as Treatment Episode Outcomes. This position provides clinical leadership within the public mental health care system to support access to high quality, safe and effective mental health services across the life cycle. The medical director manages the chief clinical officers within Ohio’s state-run Regional Psychiatric Hospitals and guides the development of clinical protocols to improve patient care.
